It’s Graduation week!

This is by far the best week of the year for the Retail Office.  Being an online retailer, we usually only talk to our customers over the phone but during graduation we get to be on the shop floor and help celebrate with all of the graduates!

This year we have a couple of exciting guest products.  These are items we will only sell at graduation and are not available from us online.

First up is The Bubbly Bauble which is a fantastic way to keep your graduation champagne cork special rather than just putting it in a drawer when you get home.  The cork is put inside a bauble with a little scroll that you can write a personal note on.  It can be presented on a cork stand next to your graduation photograph or hung on your Christmas tree every year as a reminder of your special day. This gift means that your graduation celebrations can last longer than just 24 hours.

Our other guest item is Durham Distillery Gin.  A firm favourite from last year, it has returned! Durham Distillery is a small-batch craft distillery. They produce everything by hand, using traditional methods, the highest quality ingredients and a true passion for their work. They make gin the old fashioned way, with a hand made 400 litre copper pot still. Based in County Durham, they ensure that pretty much every ingredient is locally sourced.  This year there is a competition attached to this product.   Fill in our questionnaire in the marquee and be in with a chance of winning a bottle of this locally sourced gin.

Of course we have all of our best sellers and more on display with bears, mugs, ties, cufflinks and scarves with more than enough for everyone to enjoy!

My own graduation was only last year and being involved in the other side of it this time around is making me nostalgic.  It really was one of my best days in Durham, celebrating finishing my degree with all of my friends, famliy and course mates, enjoying our success and freedom!

To all who are graduating, I hope you have an incredible day.  You truly deserve to be in the spotlight for all you have achieved.  Treasure the day now and remember it in years to come.
