Easter at Durham University Botanic Garden

Easter weekend is upon us here at the Retail Office and we are glad to have a few days off.

Our visitor attraction outlets, however, are expecting a busy Bank Holiday weekend, particualarly at the Botanic Garden where the 11th Annual Easter Chick Hunt will be taking place on Easter Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday.

This fantastic family fun event around the Garden is organised by our 'Friends of the Garden'. Easter chicks are belived to be hiding in the Garden so bring the kids along and see how many you can spot.

The Garden is open all weekend so why not come along and enjoy the Spring sunshine amongst the budding plants and flowers. There is also a cafe serving hot & cold drinks, sandwiches, cakes and scones; and don't forget to visit our gift shop which stocks beautiful gifts, cards, home ware, toys and especially for this weekend - Easter chicks and bunny baskets!!!

Easter Chick Hunt 20th-21st April, 10am-4pm Durham University Botanic Garden. We recommend visitors use the kiosk entrance and park at the park and ride.
